    Thank YOU Robert Marsh!
    Hey Guys,

Due to the generosity of COL Robert Marsh, we will be receiving an extensive collection of unit rosters sometime in the near future.
Robert is the son of Todd Marsh, ex-Bn Cmdr in '68 -'69.
Robert put up the money to get these for us from the St. Louis archives.  $168.70.  His donation to the 7-8FA Assoc.
You guys give a big "Thanks" to Robert Marsh.
As soon as I have the rosters I will start putting names into the database and send it to Carl.  Don't expect all of the names to get in the members roster at the same time.  As big as the collection is, it will take a few days (few weeks) to get them all in.

    Redleg!
    George

A Word Of Thanks

Carl,
I was in Co.D, 62nd Engineers attached to the 7th just before and during  "Tet '68" at Ben Luc. We were assigned there to rebuild the bridges that were blown in the Delta.
I and the men of the 62nd would like to take this chance to thank all those brave men of the 7th that served at Ben Luc. Their outstanding fire support given to the Delta region was never ending, even under continued mortar attack.
I remember the countless nights we got mortared, and the men that stood unprotected loading on top of the dusters, firing at the famous tree line.
We all said they had brass balls, and they did. I feel if it were not for their efforts, I might not be writing you today.

Please pass on our thanks, it is a long time coming, and Welcome Home.
